Katrina Larida
Katrina Larida is a Stockholm-based artist and fashion designer originally from the Philippines. She began her artistic journey at 16 by sketching portraits in a shopping mall and later honed her skills at Parsons School of Design in New York. Influenced by color theory and the city’s vibrant street art, her work is recognized for its rich symbolism and meticulous technique. Throughout her career, she has maintained a strong focus on sustainability, weaving nature-centric themes into her art to spark dialogue and inspire positive change.
In 2019, her Plastic series at Galleri Bellman sold out, illustrating figures ensnared in plastic as a commentary on environmental harm. She continued to explore engaging themes with her UNSPOKEN series in 2022, exhibited both in Stockholm and virtually in London, and also hosted a live-streamed art event at the Lamb co-working space. Currently, Katrina is focused on 3D fashion design, bridging art and fashion through forward-thinking concepts.
